A great 1 day endurance ride that will involve rocky trails, sandy trails, muddy trails and the logging roads to enjoy all before a great lunch in a quiet river side area on the banks of the Styx River 30km from Maydena. After lunch we continue further West to a lookout for a quick look over the surrounding areas before making our way back with different tracks to our start/finish point in the Huon Valley.This ride is part of the Southern Explorer but in reverse. It is designed as a taster to the bigger all weekend ride. Tour includes bbq lunch, Motorcycling Australia Day Recreational Licence and a great day out in some terrific riding conditions. Extra fuel recommended and to be given to lunch vehicle prior to departure.
